Arizona Juvenile Justice Delinquency and Prevention

The overarching goal of this program is to prevent young teens from entering the criminal justice system through early intervention and guided lessons. Under this program, CBI staff facilitate the presentation and discussion of the Life SkillsĀ® Curriculum on the Navajo Reservation in three community high schools to 134 students. This will increase awareness of the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco; increase refusal strategy knowledge among participants, and raise awareness of healthy lifestyle habits.
