Alcohol Awareness for Navajo Youth (AANY)

This is a new initiative in which we use the National Institutes on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism screening tool to collect data from the Navajo public to predict various health and behavioral problems. It also allows us to provide health education for the Navajo people regarding substance abuse risks and prevention. The AANY project is ultimately designed to systematically detect risk for alcohol abuse and promote health education for both youth and parents to better understand and reduce the incidence of drinking related injury.
