Grant Evaluator
The Grant Evaluator is primarily responsible for developing grant program progress reports and/or reviewing/editing progress reports written by other staff. This will be achieved by working collaboratively with CBI management and grant project directors, as well as working independently to analyze data, complete reports, and other required duties.
Position Requirements
Sitting for long periods of time.
Use of computer, keyboard and monitor is necessary.
Must be able to lift and carry approximately 15 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Close visual acuity to performance activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
Must be able to speak English and listen, hearing sound and spoken words.

Additional Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum three years’ experience in all aspects of evaluating awarded grants, preferably including federal and state funded grants, including but not limited to, developing data collection instruments, providing methods of distributing instruments on-line and in person, collection of data, compilation of data, developing objective conclusions based on data, statistical testing, and developing the narrative section of a progress report.
Experience reading and understanding foundation, federal and state guidelines (RFP’s) and awarded grant applications.
Experience and/or proven ability to understand and follow directions of the various on-line funder reporting websites and methods required by funders, in particular federal grantees.
Good organization skills with attention to timeliness and details.
Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
Possession of a current Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
Skilled in the use of general office equipment, including calculator, copy machine, printer, and computers.
Skills in using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
